Growing up in Afghanistan, cars symbolized freedom, control, and a bit of coolness—every boy's dream. My love for cars was so intense that I would sometimes skip school just to catch episodes of Fifth Gear and Top Gear on the Discovery Channel. When I finally bought my first vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, I poured all my passion into it, modifying and meticulously cleaning it to ensure it always looked its best.

 

My early experience with cars began with our family’s old Hyundai. It was far from perfect, but to me, it was everything. As the youngest in the family, cleaning the car became my responsibility. My older brother only trusted me with the keys when the car needed attention, never for driving; however,  just being in the car, even to clean it, made me feel like I was part of something special.

 

I honed my detailing skills through years of practice—taking my car to the wash, watching countless videos online, and eventually learning and developing into a professional while working at a car dealership.

 

What started as a simple chore became a true passion. I’ve always found that cleaning a car, though tough, brings an unmatched sense of satisfaction. 

 

As the owner of Hash’s Washes, I take great pride in meticulous attention to detail. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a flawlessly clean vehicle on the road, knowing that my dedication and expertise have made that possible.
